its about these charms that got lost and ended up in Rena, so whenever Rena gives a charm to a person, that person becomes her love slave. But in the end, they challenge Ooshi to a game with dice or whatever and Akasaka and Keichi win the game. They get the charm back. I really forgot how they got it from Takano Miyo and Jiro-san. T.T
well thats kinda wrong cuz there is only 1 charm and it kept switching. it ended up in keichi at the end but mion got it by punching it out of him xD You also find out Rena’s secret but im not going to tell you that.

WHAT THE F*#K!!!!! higurashi has been my favorite anime (mostly cuz of the first season) and after waiting months for the 3rd season just to find out it was only 5 episodes long was a real f*#king drag! and then it takes them like 2 weeks to release each episode, and now that the final episode is actually finally out, its taking them days to sub the damn thing!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM!?!?!?!?

Come on, give the subbers a break. School is slowly starting up for some people, and maybe there was an incident of some sort that reduced the subber’s group? It took them awhile to release the previous episode, so chances are, it’ll take just as long to release this one.

Well that’s exactly the point. They took this long to sub it when it was still released months ago, they should be doing this and the last episode faster now that it’s summer. School really isn’t an excuse, as they’ve been doing this same speed year round.

It might not that it’s being delayed, there’s just not a lot of people subbing, there’s probably groups working together, thus, Naruto, and the other popular animes are released very quickly, Higurashi probably doesn’t have that many, and let’s be honest, Higurashi is not that popular in comparison to others.
Also, on that note, don’t blame Gogo, it’s not their fault, and don’t go blaming subbers either, they have lives too.
But remember, NekoWolfy, we are the ones without lives.

very true nekowolfy, but the reason it is so frusturating, is that even though this is not a very popular and well-known anime, all the episodes up till now were subbed fairly quickly. but now all of a sudded the subbers decide to just stop subbing, right at the final episode. it doesnt make sense, and it is not very fair to the fans and viewers.
and im not blaming anyone. but i am sure that you agree that if the people subbing this are not going to be able to sub it right away, then a little warning to the fans would be nice.

Wrong, Mitchy. Have you been following REI at all? You’d know the Raws to subs happen two-to-three weeks EVERY time on a raw video release. It hasn’t been the alotted 2-to-3 yet. They didn’t “Stop” they simply haven’t reached their deadline yet.
It hasn’t changed since OVA REI EPISODE 1 released, and it doesn’t warrant any warning now. I’ve personally been watching REI since it started releasing, and I can tell you with 100% accuracy my above statement is true, because I run my own anime website and I was in charge of uploading raws/subs for this series.
Which also means, since it’s nearing the deadline we should have it soon. Be happy! Rejoice, for we have Higurashi in the future.
hmmm you dont say… yeah REI has taken the longest out of any of the Higurashi eps, but i do not remember them taking 2-3 weeks per episode to be subbed. it took 2-3 weeks per episode to be released, but it normally only took a few days for them to be subbed (except for ep 4….i remember that one taking over a week, and ep 5 which currently has not been subbed) i dont know if it was just your site that was getting the subbed versions slowly, but i used to be able to find at least one site with the subbed version even though the other sited didnt have it yet…….this is not the case for ep 5…..nobody has it. i dunno im just ramblin. its just that, most animes have an episode released each week and then it is subbed in 1-2 days. i dont see why it takes like 2-3 weeks to release each episode of Higurashi, and then 2-3 weeks to sub the episodes. im just venting…..
Actually, Higurashi is quite popular. Though maybe not as much as Naruto, it’s a well-known anime.
As much as I disagree with the people that say that we should give the subbers more time for this [ it's the final episode? Why can't they just finish it off and then it will be over? Everyone would be happy if they just subbed it quickly and we wouldn't be posting here. The people to blame /are/ the subbers, but that's just my irritated and disappointed opinion ] Rei has always taken 2-3 weeks for it to be subbed.
Yes, we may have Higurashi in the future, but judging by the way it’s going now, the future is much too far away and we’re going at a turtle’s pace.
